The actress and her filmmaker husband Boney Kapoor have taken off to London to bring in his 62nd b’day with a double celebration

It will be two weeks of cosy dinners, meeting buddies based in London and luxe shopping on Bond Street for Boney Kapoor and wife Sridevi. The couple jetted off to the Queen’s City on Monday. Daughters Jhanvi and Khushi are expected to make it in time for Boney’s 62th birthday dinner on November 11.

Mirror has learnt that Sridevi is hosting a small bash to ring in the special day with many surprise gifts for her “Number One”. That’s how she referred to her doting hubby during the recent karwa chauth celebration when the duo posed for several lovey dovey pictures together, setting the internet buzzing with the hashtag ‘couple goals’ after Boney planted a kiss on his wife.

“Sridevi and Boney love whizzing off to Europe for their annual family holidays. They had planned this getaway a while ago. It’s a double celebration to bring in Boney’s birthday and raise a toast to Mom’s success as also Sridevi’s golden jubilee run in the movies,” a source close to the couple told Mirror.

London has become synonymous with Kapoor bashes with both Anil and Sunita Kapoor ringing in their respective birthdays with the entire khandaan at the iconic nightclub, Annabel’s Mayfair. Boney and Sridevi are also going to be staying there.

Over the last one month, Boney has been busy planning an upcoming feature film based on real events. Once he returns, he’ll dive straight into prep for the next six months.
