For the longest time, speculations were rife that Sonakshi Sinha might not be a part of the third instalment of the Dabangg franchise. Previously, Arbaaz Khan had revealed that Dabangg 3 will have two heroines.

Now, Sonakshi has put all such rumours to rest. She says, “Dabangg 3 is happening next year, and I am definitely in it.” But the actress refused to divulge any further details about the film.

Salman Khan, in one of his earlier interviews with this paper, had confirmed that the third part will have flashback scenes, tracing how Chulbul Pandey actually became a Robinhood-kind of a figure for the area. Sonakshi is also expected to reprise her character Rajjo in the next instalment. Apart from Dabangg 3, Sonakshi has Chakri Toleti’s next alongside Diljit Dosanjh, Happy Bhaag Jayegi Returns, and Batla House lined up in the next year-and-a-half.
