DNA (October 17, 2017)

B-Town’s Diwali party week has begun. Just like at the box office, even the parties are clashing on the same day. Anil Kapoor, Aamir Khan, and Shilpa Shetty Kundra are hosting their Diwali parties on the same day (October 19). But before that, there is Akshay Kumar’s party a day earlier (October 18). This year, all eyes are on whether the Kundras and the Kumars will be at each other’s Diwali bashes. The former exes, Shilpa and Akshay, have remained cordial. In fact, Raj Kundra and Akshay even became business associates two years ago. But home ground was off-limits, until Akshay dropped by to see the Kundras when Shilpa lost her father last year. This year, the Kundras and Kumars are on each other’s guest lists.

TOO MANY BASHES
Whether the Khiladi and Twinkle Khanna will attend the party hosted by Shilpa and hubby, remains to be seen. Aamir Khan and Anil Kapoor, too, have Diwali parties on the same day and since Mrs Funnybones and Aamir are good friends (he even attended the launch of her debut book), it doesn’t look like she will miss that one.

CEMENTING FRIENDSHIP
There is still a chance that the Kundras will drop in at the Kumars’ residence when they have their Diwali bash a day later. If that happens, then it will be another step forward in cementing their friendship. And, of course, a great photo-opportunity for the paps!
