NEWTON slowed in the second weekend as it grossed 3.75 crore nett apprx. The hold is a little under 50% from the first weekend but for a film that had low collections in the first week and trended strongly over the weekdays it should have done better in the second weekend. Obviously JUDWAA 2 was huge competition but NEWTON is for a different audience and managed to keep a screen at metro multiplexes to collect from. The total business of the film so far is around 15.50 crore nett and it should finish at around 20 crore nett. The business of NEWTON till date is as follows

BHOOMI and HASEENA PARKAR released with NEWTON last week both crashed badly and hardly had collections in the second weekend as neither film could reach even 50 lakhs nett in their respective second weekends.
