Sunny Singh and Sonnalli Seygall, who were crackling on screen as Chauka and Supriya in Luv Ranjan’s comedy sequel, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, have reunited two years later. Last week, the duo started shooting for the Luv and Ankur Garg production. The romcom marks the directorial debut of Navjot Gulati and will also feature Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dhillon in interesting roles.

According to a source, the film is in the same space as slice-of-life romances like Shoojit Sircar’s Taapsee Pannu, Amit Sadh-starrer Running Shaadi, for which Navjot had penned the dialogue.

Currently being shot in a start-to-finish 45-day schedule across Mumbai, Delhi and Ghaziabad, the film is up for a summer 2018 release. Its title is yet to be locked but the makers are tentatively calling it BIOS, a cryptic giveaway for the plot. Meanwhile, Luv is working on his next directorial, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, with another Pyaar Ka Punchnama couple — Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha. Another romcom, it also has Sunny Singh in an interesting role.
