After the success of Akshay Kumar's Toilet - Ek Prem Katha (TEPK), which released in August this year, director-editor Shree Narayan Singh has moved on to his next, starring Shahid Kapoor. While the film's crew is occupied with the pre-production nitty-gritties, the director and his team are travelling across north India to conduct a recce for the shoot that will commence soon. The heroine and the rest of the cast are yet to be finalised.

With a modest background, Shree comes across as a cordial and simple man with his feet firm on the ground. After his debut, the filmmaker is excited about his second association with KriArj Entertainment that shares his passion for cinema with a purpose.

“This film has a heart and soul, with a fantastic story and a deep-meaning message. I hope everyone attached with the film feels proud of it. I'm lucky that after TEPK, I'm collaborating with the immensely talented Shahid Kapoor. He has proven his mettle time and again. I'm optimistic that our film will strengthen his position,“ says Shree, adding, “Working with Prernaa Arora has been wonderful. Her partner, Arjun N Kapoor and she make a perfect team and as a filmmaker, I find their support and planning crucial. It's a pleasure to team up with Bhushan Kumar, who has a fine ear for music which will help our project in a big way.“
