Varun Dhawan has three films lined up post Judwaa 2. One of them is Sui Dhaaga with Anushka Sharma. The duo will begin filming in January 2018. In the film, Varun’s character is unlike anything he has essayed before. Says our source, “Varun plays a labourer, a hired help in the film. His look in the film will be in-sync with his character. The film hopes to raise awareness about indigenous cottage industries here in India and also talks about the dignity of labour.”

Varun was fascinated by the manner in which director Sharat Katariya recited the story. “Sharat is so passionate about the subject, his narration impressed Varun enough to say yes to the project,” says an insider. Sharat, who has earlier directed Dum Laga Ke Haisha, is known for his rustic, earthy touch and Sui Dhaaga will be no different.
