According to Biblical scriptures, when Delilah betrayed Samson's trust and cut his mane, it robbed him of his fabled strength and lead to his capture by the Philistines and subsequent blinding. It was only after the hair started growing back, that Samson was able to destroy the temple where he was being paraded, thereby killing himself, his repentant Delilah and thousands of Philistines.

We don't know yet if being shorn of his locks will neutralise the 'rebel' in Tiger Shroff, but the 27-year-old actor, Mirror has learnt, will soon go bald for Baaghi 2. The Sajid Nadiadwala production, his third with Tiger after Heropanti and Baaghi, rolls in Pune today. The sequel is being directed by Ahmed Khan and has 'good friend' Disha Patani as Tiger's leading lady.

For the last several weeks now, the actor has been sporting a beanie everywhere, be it on a date with Disha, on stage at Remo D'souza's talent hunt show, Dance Plus, last week or even at the press conference of the Indian Premier Futsal League 2017 in which he owns a team.The 'hat-ke' turns have sparked plenty of speculation about what Tiger has been hiding under his cap. A source revealed that it's a really short hair cut.

“Baaghi which opened on April 29, 2016, was Tiger's second film and one of the most successful films of the year, setting a benchmark of sorts with its daredevil stunts. He definitely wants to take the action up by a notch or two and has been training hard. But that's not all. Even in the original, he sported two distinctly different looks, growing from a softer-looking brat to a disciplined martial artiste with a chiselled body. For Part 2, he's going the extra mile and has already sacrificed a good portion of his much-loved hair. By the time the film moves into its second schedule, he will have shaved off all his hair and will be sporting stubble,“ adds the source, saying Tiger is being careful not to uncap his look.

In recent times, Shahid Kapoor went completely bald for Haider, as did Ranveer Singh for Bajirao Mastani, except for a shendi. The Khans, Aamir and Salman, too cut their hair really short for their wrestling dramas.Now, it's a hair-raising adventure for Tiger.

Picture Tiger Shroff with his head shaved off! The young actor will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Baaghi 2. Tiger will sport a closely-cropped hairstyle for the sequel. Baaghi was one of the most successful films of 2016 and Tiger’s high-voltage, action performance was clearly the highlight of the film.The film also had the actor sporting two distinct looks. While early in the film, Tiger played the ignorant, spoilt brat, the second half of the film showcased him as the disciplined martial artist.

Two distinctive looks
Like Baaghi, the sequel will also have Shroff donning two distinctive looks. The first poster of the film unveiled the first look of the actor, while for the second avatar, Tiger will be shaving his head soon. Says a source, “He will be seen taking the bold step which very few actors have attempted. Actors like Aamir Khan and Salman Khan have previously shaved their heads for their films Ghajini and Tere Naam respectively. Ranveer Singh did it for Bajirao Mastani and Shahid Kapoor sported the look in Haider.”

Pushing the envelope
This will be Tiger and Sajid’s third film together. Both their last ventures — Heropanti (Tiger’s debut film) and Baaghi — have proved to be extremely successful at the box office. With this film, they will attempt a hat-trick. The source adds, “Tiger has pushed himself to prepare for his roles. Be it learning varied forms of martial arts and dance, or attaining the perfectly chiselled body for his roles or shaving his head now, he is ready to do anything to get it right.”

Tiger-Disha for the first time
Baaghi 2 will bring to celluloid, the pair of Tiger and Disha Patani for the first time. There has been huge excitement to witness the chemistry between the couple on screen. The first look of the film was released in May, which not only churned the excitement of the fans, but also received appreciation from all quarters. Produced by Sajid’s banner name, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, and presented by Fox Star Studios, Baaghi 2 is directed by Ahmed Khan. The film is scheduled to release on April 27, 2018.
