After getting along like a house on fire at a star-studded charity gala in Dubai, Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan have continued to maintain their cross-border friendship.

Mumbai Mirror was the first to tell you (July 18) that the 34-year-old actor and the 32-year-old actress (who got divorced from her husband, Ali Askari, a couple of years ago and is mother to a young boy) were introduced by common friends from the film industry and took a shine to each other almost immediately.

According to a source, Ranbir and Mahira have been in touch for the past one year and recently met during a trip to New York.
