After several shoots were cancelled following Kapil Sharma’s no-show, Sony announced on Thursday that his comedy show will go on a break. “From this weekend reruns of the show will be aired and the timeslot will be interchanged with Krushna Abhishek’s The Drama Company. Re-runs of Kapil’s show will air at 8 pm while The Drama Company moves to 9pm,” a source stated.
The channel’s official spokesperson added that the comedian has been under the weather for sometime now due to which they mutually agreed to take a short break. “However, once Kapil has recovered completely, we will start shooting once again. We value our relationship with Kapil and wish him a speedy recovery.”
The show got an extention in August.
