Actress, mother, entrepreneur, activist, budding organic farmer, environmentalist, yoga enthusiast.... Aur abhi picture baaki hai…’ Juhi Chawla’s Twitter bio reads. Now, Mirror has learnt that the mother of two kids, 16-year-old daughter Jhanvi and 14-year-old son Arjun Mehta, will be on a month-long break from work to help her kids settle into their boarding school in Charthouse which is among the most eminent public schools in the UK.
After the end of the IPL season this year, Juhi launched her pet project, Citizens for Tomorrow, to raise awareness about the environment, in particular the harmful effects of plastic. She also recently brought Bollywood together for another cause, ‘Rally for Rivers’, getting Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kajol and Dia Mirza among others to support this cause. She also wrapped up a Kannada film and a few endorsements. She will get back to action after the kids have settled in.
Before taking off, Juhi told Mirror, “I’m excited that Jhanvi and Arjun will be studying in the country, amidst the green, away from pollution and traffic snarls. They will get to play a lot of sports, there will be less academic pressure, fewer tantrums and more discipline. And distance makes the heart grow fonder for home and parents.” Will she miss them? “I will miss them during festivals and religious occasions in case if their holidays don’t coincide,” she sighed.
