BHOOMI showed limited growth of around 10-15% on Saturday and this is not good enough. The youth would never be interested in this type of while the families have kept away due to the violent feel of the trailers of the film. The film has basically not found an audience and the Saturday business pretty much seals its fate unless there is a miracle on Monday. The first two collections of BHOOMI are as follows.

NEWTON showed huge growth of around 175% on Saturday as collections jumped to 2.50 crore nett apprx. This sort of jump is rare and half of the jump has come as news broke of the film being being the entry for the Oscars from India. This probably gave it that intrigue value with the high end multiplex audience in metros which has meant that growth is probably double of what it would have got normally. The growth does give it a great chance to make headway over the weekdays. The first two day collections of NEWTON are as follows.
