After a long schedule in Bradford that kicked off in July, Akshay Kumar, along with Kunal Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal and Amit Sadh, his co-stars from the Reema Kagti directed sports-drama Gold, has taken off to Amritsar for the next schedule. Portions showcasing the squad that draws its members from different backgrounds in its journey to win India’s first Olympic medal as an independent nation will be filmed in Punjab,” a source close to the development informed Mirror, adding that they visited the Golden Temple in the wee hours of Tuesday.
Akshay plays a Bengali coach with Mouni Roy, in her big screen debut, as his wife. Nikita Dutta, another TV actress, forays into films with Gold as Sunny Kaushal’s love interest.
