Varun Dhawan, who recently wrapped up father David Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 with a schedule in Mauritius, is on a brief break before he kick-starts another project. Today, the 30-year-old actor takes off to Delhi to spend a day with army personnel and get a first-hand experience of the challenges and hardships they face in their daily lives. He is also set to put together a special performance during his stay.

A source tells Mirror, “The actor will be visiting the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) camp in Greater Noida. The plan is to interact with the jawans, who will also demonstrate training activities like rope-climbing, weapon-loading, weight-training, parade and more. After a game of volleyball, Varun will put up a performance for them of some of his recent hit songs. He is excited about the day and is determined to make it a memorable one.”

Upon his return to the Maximum City, Varun is scheduled to kick off promotions for Judwaa 2 with co-stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu ahead of its September release. Next up, he has Shoojit Sircar’s October, Abhishek Varman’s next with Alia Bhatt and Sui Dhaga with Anushka Sharma in the pipeline, but is yet to announce which one he will start shooting for next.
