While speculations were rife that Chitrangda Singh has been brought on-board Girish Mallik’s Sanjay Dutt-starrer Torbaaz, Mirror has learnt that the actress has signed up for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 that is scheduled to go on the fl oors by August-end.

A source close to the development informed Mirror, “Chitrangda will be playing Suhani, who Sanjay’s character is besotted with. She is a proficient dancer and singer. Chitrangda and Sanjay will have a smouldering chemistry throughout the film.”

While Sanjay was brought on-board the third film in Tigmanshu’s trilogy in May, it is said that producer Rahul Mittra, who was convinced that Chitrangda would be the perfect fit for the role of the leading lady, got the actress to sign on the dotted line on Thursday evening. When contacted, Rahul confirmed the news but refused to divulge details.

Sanjay is currently in Africa and will reportedly return on August 8, in time for the trailer launch of his Bhoomi, after which he will meet Tigmanshu and Chitrangda for a joint narration.
