Ranbir Kapoor has shown the way to other actors when it comes to production. While his experience may not have been the best, he took the plunge and that is an inspiration to the young actors who look up to him. Ranveer Singh recently admitted that he would prefer being a creative producer than a producer.

Sidharth Malhotra, however is willing to flirt with the idea of producing a film. He admits, “The thought has crossed my mind. If there’s a film that I feel extremely passionate about, I would want to put my name on it as a producer and back it up. I definitely see myself doing that in the future because there are so many interesting stories to tell and sometimes, actors want to collaborate. I am definitely looking out for something to happen soon.”

Sid started his career as an AD on the sets of Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan. Ask him if he sees himself directing a film someday and Sid says, “Direction is something that is at the back of my mind all the time. I like the process of filmmaking. I love how a film is edited, I absolutely love it when somebody puts up a good shot, I have immense respect for filmmakers, who do it everyday. But right now, I am consumed by telling stories as an actor. I think maybe somewhere way ahead in the future, I would want to tell a story as a director too. You never know!” Sid explains.
