It was a disaster weekend for the film industry with all new releases failing badly at box office. A GENTLEMAN was the biggest film and just about managed to collect 12 crore nett over three days. Being an action film, the only chance is to open but this was well short and then there is not much hope which will mean huge losses for the makers. BABUMOSHAI BANDOOKBAAZ also fared poorly with under 4 crore nett business for the weekend. A similar costing film like LIPSTICK UNDER MY BURKHA had a fair result a few weeks back and this needed similar business but with a such a low weekend the 12-13 crore lifetime it needed looks like a big dream. The business of BABUMOSHAI BANDOOKBAAZ over the first two days is as follows.

QAIDI BAND and SNIFF found zero audience with collections of 25 lakhs and 50 lakhs nett respectively. The latter managed growth but it is irrelevant at such low levels.
