Sonam Kapoor brought in her 32nd birthday in the Capital with a house party thrown by her Delhi-based entrepreneur boyfriend Anand Ahuja. The National Award-winning actress had taken off to Delhi on Thursday with sister Rhea Kapoor and her filmmaker boyfriend Karan Boolani. The trio was joined by the birthday girl’s closest friends, Masaba Gupta, who joined in with husband Madhu Mantena, Pernia Qureshi and Shehla Khan.

While the house had been decorated with balloons and flowers, a beer pong table was set up, as was a mini golf course, as the birthday girl partied the night away.

Wishes for Sonam poured in on social media, with Anil Kapoor referring to his darling daughter as a “warrior princess”, while the actress’s house was flooded with cakes, flowers and gifts — all of which she shared on social media to express gratitude to her fans. Brother Harshvardhan Kapoor shared a throwback picture and wrote, “As the younger sibling, I have to be proud of my sisters. Thank you for making it so easy. And it may seem like I’m happy because it’s your birthday, but it’s actually the cake... And today will be no different. Happy birthday, Sonam.”

On Friday, Sonam went for a lunch with her friends and didn’t skimp on the dessert. She is expected to be back in the city after a spot of shopping today.
