As part of her on-going publicity blitzkrieg, which saw her storm Instagram recently, Katrina Kaif is now kicking her concerted efforts to be less of a recluse into overdrive. The 33-year-old actress is severing ties with her current management company to join Salman Khan’s soon-to-be-launched talent management agency.

Two months ago, Salman had parted ways with the same agency and his manager of nine years, Reshma Shetty, to launch his own management firm with brother Sohail Khan to get rid of the exorbitant 10-20 per cent commission that the management commanded on all his deals. Now, the company, which also manages the work of Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and this week’s newest celebrity client, Akshay Kumar, is set to lose Katrina to Salman.

Kat, who’s been with the current agency for seven-eight years, has given her nod to be managed by Salman and Sohail’s agency, since, she’s already shooting for an action-romance with Salman and thinks her work will be best managed by her former beau and close friend, who “also has her best interests at heart”.

Meanwhile, Salman and Sohail are also grooming their brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, who will also be represented by their agency, for his Bollywood debut.
