On April 24, Mirror had reported that Esha Deol was in the family way and mom Hema Malini was going to be a grandmother for the second time. Now, we’ve got hold of a picture of the glowing mum-to-be with businessman-husband Bharat Takhtani on a baby-moon in Greece before their winter baby makes an appearance.

The trip was planned by Esha since Bharat is so busy he has no time to sit and plan vacations. “In fact, it was a task for Esha to get him away from the city since he is a workaholic. They clubbed the baby-moon with their fifth wedding anniversary. On Thursday, June 29, Bharat is planning to surprise her with something she will adore,” informs a source close to the couple, refusing to divulge details and spoil the lady’s delight.

The parents-to-be chose Greece because they love beaches and exploring different parts of the world. The country was suggested by many of Esha’s close friends and they’ve already visited Athens, Santorini and Mykonos. “Though she is enjoying Greece, she is missing ‘ghar ka rasam’ terribly, so much so that she’s been asking around if there is any South Indian restaurant that serves authentic rasam,” laughs the source.

While Esha is really fond of children and did all the shopping during younger sister Ahana’s pregnancy, Iyenger TamBrahms (Tamil Brahmins), like Esha’s maternal grandmother, the late Jaya Chakravarti, don’t buy anything before the birth of the child. “But on her way back, she will take a short break in Dubai to meet her interior designer, Noorien Jumani, and shop for nursery decor. Noorein will be doing up the nursery and Esha wants to look into everything personally,” adds the source.

Will the baby have a Greek name given that this baby-moon will be their last vacation before D-Day? The source admits the duo has been looking up names for something distinctive, given Hema named her daughters Esha and Ahana, which were unique back then, and Ahana’s son is called Darein. “They’re reading up on folklore and scouring religious books to pick out a unique name for their child,” says the source.

What has Bharat been like since learning that he’s going to be a dad? “He is an awesome guy, humble and loves kids. Esha is banking on him because he is the eldest among seven siblings,” the source signs off.
