Having taken charge of her career and helping her bag music projects in Bollywood, Salman Khan seems ready to take his 'friendship' with Romanian actress Iulia Vantur to the next level.

Buzz is that Sallu has been hunting for a plush penthouse since last year to gift his rumoured girlfriend. A broker in the know tells mid-day, "He has been heavily investing in properties for his family and also buying a flat for Iulia."

Reports suggesting that he has already gifted a house to Iulia aren't true, insists a source. "The pre-requisite is that the property must be close to Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments on Bandstand.

"A few buildings that the actor has checked out include Jivesh Terrace, The Address and Sagar Resham, all in the vicinity of his house. They are either duplex houses or above 1,500-sq ft in size, in the range of Rs 25-30 crore. He will finalise one after getting Iulia's approval," adds the source.

Iulia Vantur is close to Salman's family, especially his sisters Arpita and Alvira, and is always seen at the Khan-daan's functions. In fact, she had also accompanied them to Maldives for the first birthday celebrations of Salman's nephew, Ahil.
