Rohit Shetty says he's unfazed by Golmaal Again's clash with Aamir-starrer this Diwali

Action-obsessed filmmaker Rohit Shetty is ready to set off fireworks at the box office this Diwali. Contrary to reports that he has shifted the release of 'Golmaal Again' to avoid a clash with Rajinikanth's '2.0', Rohit says, "We were always planning a Diwali release. Initially, I was not sure if we would be able to finish work on 'Golmaal Again' in time. Luckily, '2.0' is not opening with us, so we might just do better business (than we'd expected)."

While '2.0' has moved out of the festive slot, his film still has Aamir Khan-starrer 'Secret Superstar' for competition. He, however, claims he doesn't make much of box office contests. "You pick any weekend, there will mostly always be two films releasing together. There are only 52 Fridays a year for 300-plus films. The idea of a box office clash is a recent creation. 'Lagaan' and 'Gadar' released on the same day in 2001. So did 'Dil' and 'Ghayal' (in 1990). They didn't have problems then, why would I have now?" he asks.

Making light of the impending BO battle, Rohit adds, "We are not going to have sword fights outside Churchgate station over a date. It's not as big an issue as you are making it to be."
