Akshay Kumar loves doing films which are inspired by real-life characters or events. After Airlift and Rustom, and the upcoming Padman, (based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, inventor of a low-cost sanitary pads making machine) and Gold, he has one more lined up. He will play a rescue hero again as he has bought the rights to the story of the Raniganj Coalfield rescue mission (1989). The hero of the rescue operation was JS Gill, Additional Chief Mining Engineer, who risked life and went down the borehole in the capsule and organised the evacuation of 64 miners who were trapped underground in a coal mine.
