Priyanka Chopra has now added another feather in her Hollywood cap. The 34-year-old actress has been appointed one of the jury members of the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, set to be hosted by Michael Rapaport from April 19-30.

PeeCee, who rose to fame in the West with her role of FBI agent Alex Parrish in Quantico, has been tasked with judging the Documentary and Student Visionary Competitions alongside Olivia Thirlby, Ryan Eggold, Brendan Fraser and Ileen Gallagher.

Meanwhile, Amy Berg, Zachary Quinto, Sheila Nevins, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Plemons and Melanie Lynskey will serve as judges on other categories that include Best New Documentary Director Award, US Narrative Competition and International Narrative Competition, among others.

The winners of each category will be announced at the awards ceremony that is scheduled for April 27 at the Tribeca Performing Arts Centre.

Priyanka Chopra has been named jury member of the 16th Tribeca Film Festival, which was co- founded by Hollywood star Robert De Niro. Joining her on the panel will be Spiderman actor Willem Dafoe, Breaking Bad star Jesse Plemons and Melanie Lynskey (Rose from popular sitcom Two And A Half Men) among a few filmmakers.

The 34-year-old star, who became America’s sweetheart with her role of Alex Parrish in Quantico, will judge the documentary and student visionary competitions alongside Olivia Thirlby (Juno), Ryan Eggold ( The Blacklist) and Brendan Fraser (The Mummy).

The 12-day fest, which kicks off on April 19, will have an awards ceremony on April 27 at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Centre.
