Salman’s special friend, Iulia Vantur, admits to have liked a few scripts; may choose one only for the sake of exploring

Many had expected Salman Khan’s rumoured girlfriend, Iulia Vantur, to venture into Bollywood as an actor, but she surprise d them by taking up a string of music projects. But that’s not to say that movie offers have stopped coming to the Romanian actress.

“I have been receiving very interesting offers. There are some strong characters that I identify with. I read the scripts and then think to myself, okay, this will be interesting to explore,” says Iulia, and you can sense a ‘but’ coming. “If I dip my feet in acting, it will only be for the sake of exploring, not in terms of a career as such. Music has been my passion since I was little, but I had never thought of making a career out of it,” she adds, hinting at a ‘never say never’ stance.

Iulia has also received theatre offers and often been tempted to follow it up, considering she ‘used to do live interactions all the time in Romania’. “It’ll be nice. In theatre, you receive feedback instantly and exchange of energy with the audience can be beautiful. But theatre means a lot of dedication,” she adds.
