Coming from a non-filmy background, without any godfather, the actress has flagged it to the top purely on her own. As the 'Queen' actress turns a year older, here's a look at some childhood photos of her.

One of the pictures sees her accepting a prize, while the other sees her posing at a temple. The temple picture was clicked during one of her school trip wherein Kangana carried her mother's purse. She apparently howled and sobbed until her mother agreed to let her take the purse. Well, that clearly shows where all that perseverance comes from.
