After Shah Rukh Khan released Ra. One (2011) with a video game tie-in, several Bollywood movies have had a gaming run. Now, in a first for a kiddie flick, Amole Gupta’s Sniff is set to get a digital avatar. Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s company, Viaan Studios, is developing an Android arcade game for Sniff, the first franchise film of Eros International’s Trinity Pictures.
Kundra says, “We hope this unique venture will entertain gamers across the country.” Called Sunny Singh And The Agents Of Sniff, it seems to be on the lines of iconic arcade games, Mario and Contra, and will be launched ahead of the film’s release in May.
Ajit Thakur, CEO of Trinity Pictures, says, “This one’s customised, and is not just another mobile game. So, both kids and adults can enjoy it. We will soon unveil it for the audience to experience the film’s characters and their exploits.”
