Wouldn't like to date first co-star despite Karisma Kapoor's attempt at playing Cupid

Following scandalous comments that she has previously made on Karan Johar's chat show, 'Koffee With Karan', Sonam Kapoor swore not to spark fresh controversies this time round. However, she couldn't help but raise eyebrows, yet again.

Appearing on the next episode of the Star World show along with Veere Di Wedding co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam was asked if she'd ever date Ranbir Kapoor. Kareena, Ranbir's first cousin, jumped in to reveal that Karisma is keen that Sonam becomes their bhabee. But, Sonam said, "Ranbir and I'd make better friends," adding she doesn't believe she would keep him happy.

Rumours around their relationship sparked off during the shoot of their debut film, Saawariya, in 2007. Featuring with RK's ex, Deepika Padukone, on Karan's show in 2010, Sonam made explosive revelations about him, which irked many.

The actress is set to reunite with Ranbir after a decade for the Sanjay Dutt-biopic.
