Buzz is that Tarun Mansukhani's next, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez, is based on the 2011 Hollywood film, Drive, which featured Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. According to sources close to Sushant, the film, also tentatively titled Drive, will go on floors around mid-2017.

It will be shot in India and a few Southeast Asian countries. Jacqueline has already said that she will be working hard to perform action scenes, as the movie is high on punches and kicks. The original Hollywood film, based on an eponymous novel by James Sallis, revolved around a nameless Hollywood stunt driver (Ryan), who moonlights as a getaway driver (someone who helps criminals escape from crime scenes).

He's attracted to his neighbour Irene (Carey), whose husband owes money to local gangsters and is drawn to the underworld. We sent text messages to Tarun and Sushant for their comments, but neither reverted till the time of going to press.
