Three months after the Hero remake, Sooraj Pancholi has finally signed his second film with Faruk Kabir — who made his directorial debut with the short film, The Awakening, in 2006 featuring Ajay Devgn and went on to act and direct his first feature, Allah Ke Banday, four years later. The film kicks off in mid-2017.

Faruk met Sooraj last month and after discussing the project with his mentor Salman Khan, the producer of his debut film, gave him the nod. The film is tentatively titled Muhafiz.
