The actor updates Karan Johar about his emotional status, but steers clear of mentioning Iulia Vantur

It’s the eternal question: is Salman Khan single or taken? Everybody wants to know. And the superstar always keeps them guessing.

As he joins his brothers Sohail and Arbaaz on the Koffee Century celebrations of Koffee With Karan which airs on Star World tonight, the host attempts to get that question answered.

This, despite Salman agreeing to appear on the show on just one condition. “Salman said he’d show up only if he wasn’t asked about his ‘good friend’ Iulia Vantur or if he was dating her. He didn’t want her named at all on the show,” reveals our source.

And so, Karan broaches the topic in an indirect manner and asks Salman about his emotional status — is he confused, single or in transit or waiting in immigration? “Salman chooses all of the above, implying that something is brewing in his life,” adds the source.

Salman has been in the public eye for having a string of beauties on his arm and the latest in the list of his rumoured girlfriends is Iulia.

The actor admits to Karan that he is “not the nicest guy when it comes to relationships”, while the host implies that he was in some serious relationships before (insinuating it was Katrina Kaif he was talking about). Salman admits candidly that he “was not very good with them.” Arbaaz cracks a joke and leaves Karan bemused when he says, “He was good to other people, at that time.”
