When Karan Johar had Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna as guests for the second episode of this season’s Koffee With Karan, the filmmaker-host confessed to have had a brief crush on the star wife during their school days. However, Karan is just one in what may be a long list of Twinkle admirers.

Shahid Kapoor, who will grace KJo’s couch with wife Mira in the next episode of the Star World show, reveals how as a teenager, he used to have a big crush on Twinkle. So much so, that he and a friend would stalk her at a hotel swimming pool during the shoot of Itihaas (1997) . His mother, actress Neelima Azim, was also part of the film featuring Ajay Devgn and Raj Babbar. The two boys would wait for hours to catch a glimpse of Twinkle.
