Looks like two more names have been added to the long list of break-ups that Bollywood saw this year. This time around, brothers, and writer-director duo Sajid-Farhad are rumoured to be parting ways.

The Samji siblings forayed into films as writers for Ram Gopal Varma's Shiva (2006). After Sunday (2008), for which they penned the dialogues, the two formed a team with Rohit Shetty, and were credited in all his films since then. They made their directorial debut with Entertainment (2014) and followed it up with Housefull 3 earlier this year. Industry sources tell us that tension between the two has been simmering for a while now, though they never let any of their differences come to the fore. “The issues between them has extended to their families, too. Chances are, Sajid and Farhad, who were staying together, will start living separately. Sajid was seen checking out a few houses recently,“ says a source.

However, a production executive, who has worked on a few films with the duo, tells us that they have spoken about the split to a handful of close associates. “Friends are trying to dissuade them from going separate ways,“ he says.

We tried contacting both Sajid and Farhad, but they remained unavailable for comment till the time of going to press.
