After landing a role opposite Ajith in Tamil film 'Thala 57', Vivek Oberoi is now set to turn Marathi mulga for 'Masti' co-star Riteish Deshmukh's next regional project. He is excited about the script, but is yet to sign on the dotted line.

"I have watched a couple of Marathi films lately, and good content is being made and promoted. I admire the meaningful stories and substantial content being served to the audience," says Vivek, adding he's certain about doing a Marathi film next year.

Asked about Riteish's film, the actor says it's too early to make an announcement. "Riteish narrated the script and I really liked it. So, let's see how things work out. It is an emotional drama, which is refreshingly different from the usual fare," he adds.

Once he comes on board, hunt for the female lead will begin. The untitled film is slated to roll in the first quarter of 2017.
