awards over the years for her fiesty screen turns says trophies only
offer “momentary satisfaction“ and she has never craved for them.
The 42-year-old actress who was conferred the country's fourth highest civilian award, the Padma Shri, in 2011, says, “I never prayed for an award ever in my life. It's a high standing in front of whole groups of people but five years down the line, it's a statue on your shelf. Yes, people do remember it to a point but there is nothing beyond that.
