The Turbanator Harbhajan Singh is the latest addition to Season 14 of the popular MTV reality show, Roadies. Roadies Rising, as the new season is being called will kick off in January and though Bhajji won't get into details as yet, he promises that he'll be the surprise element as he joins the contestants in their adventure.

Speaking to Mirror about his decision to be a part of the show, he points out that this is one show that speaks to the youth and has a cult following. “The term 'Roadie' has come to be synonymous with adventure, strength, courage and hard work and this is reason enough for my excitement. I'm really looking forward to experiencing the pulse of India's millennial generation.“

He goes on to reveal that he has watched previous seasons of the show and is a self-confessed Roadies fan. “I watch it whenever I get time off from the game. My all time favourite contestant is and will always be Rannvijay Singha.“ Rannvijay won the first season and is now expected to be Bhajji's co-judge. Actress Neha Dhupia will also continue as judge on the upcoming season of the adventure reality show. Besides challenging tasks, Roadies is also known for its travel across the country, and the country's specialist spinner is game for the googly. “We haven't started shooting yet and the crew haven't shared any details with me. I'd like to keep it that way. Just as I'm going to surprise you, I want the show to be a surprise for me too,“ he beams.

The cricketer is known for his fiery temper on the field. He was slapped with a three-Test ban by referee Mike Procter after he reportedly called Andrew Symonds, of Australia a “monkey“. Later the ban was revoked but he was fined 50 per cent of his match fee. Then again after a 2008 IPL match between Mumbai Indians which he was captaining and Kings XI in Mohali, he slapped Punjab's bowler and his Team India colleague Sreesanth, angered by his aggressive sendingoff as Punjab coasted to a decisive victory.

Roadies is also known for its abuses and aggressive participants. How does he see himself playing this field? “I will behave according to the situation. If the need arises, I will be tough with contestants. But mostly I am here to have fun and enjoy the road trip,“ he asserts.

Harbhajan was previously part of the comedy show Mazak Mazak
