John Abraham and Genelia
D'Souza's romance lent softness to an otherwise combat-heavy Force. And
now, BT has learnt that the actress, who played John's wife in the first
outing, will return for a guest or shall we say a ghost appearance in
the sequel that opens in theatres next week. Her character had met with a
brutal end in Force, which was a remake of a popular movie down South.
It will be interesting to see how the track of the actress, who is now also a mother of two off screen, has been woven into the new instalment of the thriller-action franchise. We hear she plays a pivotal role in the film.
Confirming the news, producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah said, “Genelia is a part of the film. She was one of the most loved characters in the first instalment and the romance between John and her was appreciated a lot. So, we wrote something interesting especially for her and her role has been beautifully woven into the script. It's a guest appearance but it is crucial to the plot. She helps John's character and the story to move forward.“
