Actor-comedian Vir Das was also in the Queen’s City and while strolling down the South Bank, he came across this street performer who was doing his Chaplinesque act.

“Charlie Chaplin is one of my idols so I stayed and watched him for a while and then decided to take a picture home for the album,” the 37-year-old actor told Mirror from London where he is doing a sold-out run at the Soho theatre. “Fifteen shows in 10 nights and all of them are houseful,” he exulted. He flew down for a working break after the release of his last film, 31st October, and will be back in time for the release of Milap Zaveri’s short film Raakh.
