Director Sanjay Gupta's
Kaabil, which features impressive per formances by Hrithik Roshan and
Yami Gautam, has another ounce of entertainment to offer. A special song
featuring Urvashi Rautela was recently shot for the film. After
chartbusters like Ishq Samundar, Maahi Ve, Saki Saki and Babli
Badmaash, Sanjay has filmed a reworked version of Saara Zamaana from
Amitabh Bachchan's Yaarana (1981).
Sanjay says, “Our version is in a female voice and is picturised in the most imaginative way. Those who recall Mr Bachchan's outfit in the song will remember that it had light bulbs all over it. And even today when you watch it, it has that jaw-dropping effect. We're attempting something close. While shooting, we had booked all the lights available to create a similar impact. A huge dome was erected and Urvashi sizzled like never before.“
Rakesh Roshan, on his part, believes, “The Saara Zamaana set was breathtaking. Urvashi's grace, poise and energy lit up the set. She recreated the magic of the song effortlessly!“ The producer, who has a thing for upping the scale with whatever he attempts, adds, “Urvashi was nervous as hell to enact a song that originally features Amitabh Bachchan. However, she gave it her all. The result will blow people's mind away. I think people will be tripping on this song through the upcoming party season.“
