Shreyas Talpade has donned the director's hat for the Hindi remake of his Marathi production, Poshter Boyz. Besides the actor himself, the film stars the Deol brothers, Sunny and Bobby, and is inspired by a real-life case of three men finding themselves on a poster promoting vasectomy accidentally.

Speaking about the casting coup, Shreyas told Mirror, “I'm looking forward to work with paaji (Sunny Deol) and Bobby. I wanted a guy who is a He-man, the symbol of masculinity. Someone like him finding himself on a poster promoting vasectomy was amusing and when I narrated the character to paaji, he loved it. Then, I thought casting Bobby would be an out-of-the-box idea because he's been a style icon and a chocolate hero. Yes, it's a casting coup!“

The actor admits that the setting is different from the Marathi version because he is catering to a pan-India audience. “There are a few changes in characterisation and we've set the film in North India. We are currently shooting in Bhor, on the outskirts of Pune, but will then move up North. We are looking at completing the shoot by January-end,“ Shreyas informed.
