Two years after the release of Chaar Sahibzaade, filmmaker Harry Bawe ja is back with its sequel, Chaar Sahibzaade: Rise Of Banda Singh Bahadur. Produced by Eros International and Baweja Films, the 3D animated movie, which opens in cinemas on November 11 in Punjabi, English and Hindi, narrates the epic tale of Banda Singh Bahadur, one of the greatest warriors in Sikh history. He was chosen by Guru Gobind Singhji to fight Wazir Khan, the governor of Sirhind, who had been terrorising Punjab for decades. Banda fought with great valour and embodied a true spiritual warrior's qualities that Guru Gobind Singhji conveyed through his teachings.

The producers want to celebrate the film's release with the true warriors of the nation, the Indian Army. So, a special screening will be held on November 10 in New Delhi for army personnel and gallantry award winners. Harry says, “Banda Singh's story is an inspiration for every generation and his struggle as a general resonates with the valour of our army personnel. We wanted to show that we appreciate their efforts, and this screening is a small step towards that.“

Sunil Lulla of Eros International adds, “There is a lot that one can take back from this story. Banda Singh was a brave fighter, who led and served the Khalsa army selflessly, just like our army does. It was an instinctive decision to screen the movie for these bravehearts who make supreme sacrifices for the nation.“
