After being appreciated for
Rustom, Akshay Kumar has already started shooting for his next, Toilet
- Ek Prem Katha. The love story, which has Bhumi Pednekar playing the
female lead, will see Bollywood editor Shree Narayan Singh making his
directorial debut.
A social satire, the movie deals with tackling the menace of open defecation, the shift in mindsets, and the wave of social change that is set to transform India as we are on the threshold of becoming a superpower. The film went on floors on Sunday in Barsana near Mathura. Presented by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and KriArj Entertainment, it's set to hit screens next year.
Toilet - Ek Prem Katha is produced by Cape of Good Films, Friday Filmworks and Abundantia Entertainment.
