In an earlier interview to Mirror (August 17) Arbaaz Khan had admitted that all was not well with his 18-year-old marriage with model-actress Malaika Arora Khan. “At this point of time we are not together, we are separated,“ he had said. The couple have been living apart but have been spotted having a quiet diner with son, Arhaan. All this has fuelled plenty of speculations about the on-off relationship and the couple only added to it by posting cryptic messages on the social media within minutes of each other.

Malaika posted an text image on Instagram which read, “The more chances you give someone the less respect they'll start to have for you. They'll begin to ignore the standards that you've set because they'll know another chance will always be given. They're not afraid to lose you because they know no matter what you won't walk away. They get comfortable with depending on your forgiveness. Never let a person get comfortable disrespecting you.“

Even before you could say “huh“ Arbaaz posted within an hour, “I never knew how strong I was until I had to forgive someone who wasn't sorry and accept an apology I never received.“

Makes us wonder what these two were referring to?
