Deepika waits for her beau after chatting up the ‘Bigg Boss’

On Tuesday evening, Bandra’s Mehboob Studio was crawling with Bollywood A-listers. On the first floor, ‘Bigg Boss’ Salman Khan was filming the opening episode of the reality TV show’s ninth season which kicks off later this month. He was joined by Deepika Padukone who has just returned from Los Angeles after wrapping up the dubbing of her Hollywood debut and the Vin Diesel starrer, xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

“They shot a power-packed opening episode with Salman taking digs at the Hollywood action star while congratulating Deepika on her global success. He then teased her, saying, ‘Abhi toh humare saath bhi act kar lo,’ and had her turn an embarrassed red,” reveals a source from the show’s production team.

One another floor, Deepika’s steady beau, Ranveer Singh, was filming a chat show with his Dil Dhadakne Do director Zoya Akhtar. “They were yakking from 3pm, spilling the beans on love and movies and leaving the unit in splits during the rapid fire round of 75 questions,” an onlooker informed Mirror.

After Deepika finished her shoot she hung around for a while chatting with Sallu, admitting that she was waiting for Ranveer to finish. He finally did, hugged his team, bid farewell to the unit before hurrying out to join his ladylove who had been patiently waiting for half-an-hour outside the studio’s gate. He jumped into her car and the two sped away towards Deepika’s Prabhadevi home. Now that’s what you call a date night!
