Pak artistes standing by
their nation right now; we should learn from them: Ajay Devgn
(In an interview to a TV channel, when asked if he would share screen space with Pakistani artistes) “Not at the moment. I am very clear on this - because you are an Indian first. I don't care if my film doesn't release in Pakistan. Their artistes are standing by their nation. They are earning here but are sticking by their nation. We should learn from them.
(It is) not possible to talk about exchange of art and culture... There is an exchange of bullets happening and you are talking about exchange of culture? We cannot isolate ourselves from the nation.
(On Salman Khan's and Karan Johar's opposing the ban by the IMPPA) It's saddening. You need to take a stand.“
I'd feel bad if I wasn't allowed to work in the US, it's the same with Pak artistes: Nimrat Kaur
Nimrat Kaur, who lost her father to terrorists at an young age, doesn't mince words on the issue. “As an artiste I feel bad if Pakistani actors are banned in India because of the prevailing tension between the two countries, but as a citizen of India, I feel that the decision to allow or not to allow them to work in India solely depends on the government. If the government feels that a strict action like this would work and bring peace in the country then the government has all the options open. Kal ko maan lijye ki India ke relations US ke saath acchhe na rahe aur US Indian artistes ko ban karde toh mujhko bhi bura lagega. I would feel bad if I wasn't allowed to work in the US. Same is with Pakistani artistes.“
