Singer Jasleen Royal tutored actress to perfectly lip-sync to Baar Baar Dekho song

Singer Jasleen Royal, who made her Bollywood playback debut two years ago with Khoobsurat, turned teacher for Katrina Kaif during the shoot of the Nachde Ne Saare track in upcoming film, Baar Baar Dekho. The London-born actress was struggling to lip-sync to chaste Punjabi words in the lyrics. But, after a few lessons with Jasleen, Katrina could easily mouth what initially seemed like tongue twisters to her.

“I remember recording and e-mailing the details and pronunciation of several words in the song to help Katrina understand the Punjabi words better,” says Jasleen.

She adds, “Translating ‘khasmanukhane’ and ‘aloo bade karaare’ was quite funny. Every time I tried teaching her pronunciation of the latter, everyone on the sets would just crack up.”

Jasleen says having Katrina dance to a song crooned by her makes her super happy. “She has brought my song to life. I respect her dedication towards work, which was evident while she was learning correct pronunciation for the track,” says the singer.
