A group of men tried to pull me into their car: MAHHI VIJ
I had to fetch my friend from a call centre at around 10 pm and I didn't know the way. I halted my car to ask for directions from a group of guys who were standing on the road. And instead of helping, they started screaming 'Beth jaa gaadi main'. They had a vehicle with them and they threatened to pull me into it. But luckily, the doors of my car were locked. Though they tried following me, I managed to give them the slip. It is not just Delhi; there are many other places in India which are unsafe.

A stalker tried to touch me inappropriately in a bus: AISHWARYA SAKHUJA
When I travelled by bus, there was this guy who would turn up every day and stand close to me. I always had safety pins with me for self-defence. One day, I used it to my advantage when he started touching me from behind. Strict actions should be taken for women's safety in Delhi. It's shocking that women are not safe in the capital of our country. Unfortunately, people tend to just stand and watch, and not offer any help! Strict action should be taken against stalkers and eve teasers.

He followed me till my home and put his hand inside my shirt: SMRITI KALRA
My father is a Navy General and we have lived in Delhi for many years. Though I've faced many horrifying incidents, the scariest experience involved this guy who stalked me from college. Just outside the campus, I saw this man sitting on his bike and continuously staring at me. I had a dance competition scheduled. I had a tape recorder in my hand. When I reached the lane where my house was, the man suddenly came closer, and before I could run away, he put his hand inside my shirt, inappropriately touched me and ran away. It is sad to see Delhi becoming the crime capital of India. It is time to take strict action against stalkers.
We got the stalker arrested after he followed me from college to my house: ROSHNI CHOPRA
During my college days, a man would follow me every day to my campus. But soon, he started stalking me to my house as well. Situation became tense and my family reported him to the cops. This horrifying incident has filled me with disgust about the state of affairs in Delhi. Until there is a change in the law and its enforcement, women will never feel safe in Delhi.
