Producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala, who has been enjoying a dream run in the industry, has added yet another feather to his cap. He is all set to be honoured with the French distinction, Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters). The ceremony, which will be held in the city today, will see Alexandre Ziegler (Ambassador of France to India) confer the honour on Sajid for his contribution towards boosting Indo-French partnership in cinema.

Sajid's Tamasha, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead, was shot extensively in breathtaking locales of Corsica in France. It reportedly became the first Indian production to benefit from France's film production incentive - TRIP (Tax Rebate for International Production).

This is not the only international award that Sajid has been accorded with. He has previously been honoured by Australia, Italy, Sydney, UK and Abu Dhabi.
