Mirror had earlier reported (August 29) about Sanjay Leela Bhansali quietly setting into motion the first of the lavish sets in Mehboob Studio for his next, Padmavati, with the creation of the queen's Water Palace from the Chittorgarh fort.

Now, we hear that the film is set to roll with a song sequence in the Rajasthani dance style, ghoomar, for which leading lady, Deepika Padukone, is set to start prep.

A source close to the development informed, "Folk dancers from Rajasthan will be flown in for the song. They will be seen alongside Deepika as well as train her. The set at Mehboob studio, where the song will be shot, is almost ready."

Deepika reportedly plays Rani Padmavati whose legendary beauty wowed Alauddin Khilji, who spurred by his obsessive love for the queen, attacked the kingdom of Mewar. While the men, including Rani Padmavati's husband, Raja Ratan Singh, and his soldiers vowed to fight to the last man, the women, following their rani, jumped into a pyre and committed jauhar.
