She’s four-something and already Aaradhya Rai Bachchan, daughter of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai knows the Ganesh aarti and the Gayatri Mantra by heart. What’s more, the little one can even make modaks, the traditional prasad offered to Ganesha.

A source reveals, “Aishwarya has been teaching Aaradhya the Ganesh aarti since her daughter was three. While the little girl knows the whole mantra somewhat, she has rote-learned the first paragraph. And before Ganesh Chaturthi, she makes modaks (coconut-filled sweets); it’s an activity she enjoys along with mom Ash and her naani, Brinda.”

The source adds that while the Bachchans and the Rais don’t get the elephant god home, they always pray to his idol at home and Aaradhya is a devoted participant, partaking in all the prayers and festivities. “She looks forward to the celebrations with eagerness, though, she’s still a child.”
